10 things you should DEMAND from your QuickBooks integration!

QXpress		QXpress vs. 'other' programs
1. One click integration		Unlike QXpress which fully integrates with QuickBooks with a single mouse click, other programs have a complicated process where you need to line up QuickBooks accounts with their own accounts one by one.
2. Ongoing integration		Unlike QXpress which is automatically updated with any changes to the Customer and Item list in QuickBooks, other programs just do a one time import from QuickBooks and all future changes are not updated in both programs.
3. Live-linking		In QXpress when a customer is added or edited it instantly gets updated in QuickBooks. Other programs, however, require you to add the customer in QuickBooks and then go through the full integration process all over again.
4. Post individual transactions		In QXpress, transactions like invoices get posted over individually to the appropriate customer in QuickBooks. Other programs, however, just post the daily or weekly sales totals and deposits to QuickBooks without any detail - causing an accounting nightmare when it comes to credits or other adjustments.
5. QuickBooks look and feel		Unlike QXpress which is made exclusively for QuickBooks users, other programs have an entirely different interface, forcing you and your staff to move away from what you are already comfortable with.

QuickBooks-style dropdown lists		QXpress understands how you and your staff are familiar with QuickBooks, right down to how you setup your Item and Customer lists to have sublevels for fast data entry. 8. Service times for Employees		QXpress allows you to record start and stop times for each service on a per employee basis. This allows you to post service times directly into the Timesheet in QuickBooks. Other programs just let you keep a total job cost time, causing you to have to manually double-enter the employee time entries into QuickBooks.
9. Use QuickBooks Items		In QXpress, every service is assigned to a QuickBooks 'Service Item', and every material is assigned to a QuickBooks 'Inventory' or 'Non-Inventory Item'. Other programs invent work-arounds to try to make their own inventory and job names fit with QuickBooks, causing a nightmare for your QuickBooks Profit/Loss Statement.
10. Real time QuickBooks transactions		QXpress displays QuickBooks invoices, estimates, payments and credit memos in the QXpress Customer screen in real time. Other programs, however, force you to keep some information in their software, and other information in QuickBooks, causing embarrassing delays while you look for the answers to their questions.

QXpress End User License Agreement

1. License Grant

   Alocet grants to you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use a copy of the Software provided with this EULA. You agree you will not copy the Software except as necessary to use in a single hardware product system. You agree that you may not copy the written materials accompanying the Software. Modifying, translating, renting, copying transferring or assigning all or part of the Software, or any rights granted hereunder, to any other persons and removing any proprietary notices, labels or marks from the Software is strictly prohibited.

2. Copyright

   The Software is licensed, not sold. You acknowledge that no title to the intellectual property in the Software is transferred to you. You further acknowledge that title and full ownership rights to the Software will remain the exclusive property of Alocet and /or its suppliers, and you will not acquire any rights to the Software, except as expressly set forth above. All copies of the Software will contain the same proprietary notices as contained in or on the Software.

3. Reverse Engineering

   You agree that you will not attempt, and if you are a corporation, you will use your best efforts to prevent your employees and contractors from attempting to reverse compile, modify, translate or disassemble the Software in whole or in part. Any failure to comply with the above or any other terms and conditions contained herein will result in the automatic termination of this license and the reversion of the rights granted hereunder to Alocet.

4. Disclaimer of Warranty

   The Software is provided as is without warranty of any kind. Alocet and its suppliers disclaim and make no expressed or implied warranties and specifically disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular use and non-infringement of third-party rights. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Software is with you. Neither Alocet nor its suppliers warrant that the functions contained in the Software will meet your requirements or that the operation of the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of Liability

   Alocet's entire liability and your exclusive remedy under this EULA shall not exceed the price paid for the Software, if any. In no event shall Alocet or its suppliers be liable to you for any consequential, special, incidental or indirect damages of any kind arising out of the use or inability to use the Software, even if Alocet or its suppliers have been advised of the possibility of such damages, or any claim by a third party.

6. Applicable Laws

   This EULA will be governed by the laws of Canada.

7. Export Laws

   This EULA involves products and /or technical data that may be controlled under any applicable export control laws, and regulations, and may be subject to any approval required under such laws and regulations.
