I am having some trouble with recurring work orders and I'm not sure if its me or bugs, but here is what i did:
From the work order list, click "new work order" Button.
Select a customer in the "add/edit work order screen"
place a check in the "Recurring" checkbox
Choose a basis
Set the preferences
insert the dates
Add job items to work order
save and close work order
Click "edit series" for the work order just created.....
It appears that if the basis is weekly, everything works as it should. However if the basis is anything other than weekly, the information does not get saved.
For example if the basis was monthly and I click edit series, the "recurring" checkbox would not be checked, the basis would be set to weekly, not monthly.
It also appears none of the changes made to "2. Set Preferences:" on the add/edit work order screen get saved.
Am I going about this in the wrong order or is there a bug causing this?
